Implementation of Internet network, CCTV and VOIP project in a university
In the science and technology park, one of the universities has considered a space for knowledge-based companies and has prepared arrangements and facilities so that these companies can operate with high bandwidth without any worries. The building has 5 floors, each floor has 4 to 5 units, and each one requires Internet and VOIP. According to the pre-made design, 5 cameras will be installed in the corridors of each floor. An Rj45 cable (optical fiber can also be used) is stretched from each floor to the basement floor where the server room is located.
Therefore, a 24-port switch with technical number Sepitam-ES224G-DFM is installed inside the wall rack on each floor. This switch has 24, 10.100.1000 MBPS ports, it is managed and Non PoE.
It is better that this switch is PoE so that it can also power the cameras, but in this project, an adapter is used to turn on the cameras.
For Internet and VOIP, a cable from the Sepitam-PS224G-DF 24-port switch is inserted into each unit. The switch inside each unit is an 8-port non-management 10.100.1000 MBPS switch with technical number Sepitam-PS208G-DG-at. This switch can be POE or Non POE. It is better to activate the power of VoIP systems than the PoE switch.
In projects where the price is very decisive, the same switch with the same bandwidth and capability can be used as Non-POE at a third of the price of PoE switches.
Because the floors are similar, this process is repeated. On each floor, a Sepitam-PS224G-DF switch and a network uplink enters the server room from each switch.
In the server room, a 24-Giga port central management switch with technical number Sepitam-ES424G-QFM is placed to manage the entire network.
This switch can also be POE or Non-POE. Because it is generally installed in the same room as the camera and VOIP servers, and the PoE type of this switch can be used to set them up.
With this switch, you can easily manage the internet network and the access or non-access of the units to the camera.
Management of each floor by the Sepitam-ES224G-DFM switch and management of all floors by the switch
Sepitam-ES424G-QFM is performed. Access to cameras, bandwidth and other things can be easily managed by these switches.
