The Sepitam-MC11G-SSC20 media converter is able to convert 10/100/1000 Mbps network signals between Shielded & Unshielded Twisted Pair (Cat 5 or 6 network cabling) .This device can be used between 1000Base-TX cable and 1000Base-FX fiber optic based networks. This develops an extension of networks over a long range in single-mode fiber-optic cabling, send the Ethernet signals up to 20km. This device utilizes just one core in order to transmit and receive the information on fiber optic cable.
